My
name is Maria Fernanda Brate. I live in
Tampa and I now happily live without the fear of being deported
back to Colombia and that's because lawyer Neelofer

I started off with a different attorney as an asylum case which

find out that at the end of seven years the lawyer had done nothing

I
would rate Neelofer as a lawyer par
excellence. She thinks out of the box and comes with really
innovative solutions. I was in the sixth year of my H1B. I applied
for my Green Card when I had less than a year for the expiry of my
sixth year of H1B. We applied for Labor
under PERM. My EB2 labor was cleared
without much ado. We decided to file for I-140. To my utter
surprise my I-140 denied when I had less
than a month for my H1B expiry. The reason for the denial was the
incorrect evaluation of my 4 year degree as a 3 year degree. My
problems compounded several folds as I had only one and half month
for the expiry of my H1B. I was very desperate and despondent. I
consulted one of the top immigration lawyers in the country. This
lawyer asked me to pack my bags and leave for my country. Another
lawyer asked me to file MTR (Motion to reopen). The chances of a
decision on MTR before the expiry of my 6th year of H1B were very
slim. Neelofer came up with the idea of
filing a new I-140. She drafted a cover letter and explained the
erroneous denial. My I-140 was approved in
15 days prior to my H1-B expiry. I was overwhelmed. I owe my stay
in US to Neelofer.
Neelofer
is a very competent and compassionate lawyer. I would blindly
recommend Neelofer to anyone who is
pursuing Green Card.

By
its very nature consulting an Attorney can be stressful, possibly
because of the crisis which you are facing or because you have need
of expertise to guide you through the myriad complexities of the
law. This is particularly true if you are in a State or Country
whose laws are unfamiliar to you.
My Son and I were negotiating to buy a business in Florida to
expand our British companies and used a large firm of lawyers in Orlando to obtain the necessary L Visas . Unfortunately the law firm were slow and
lacked attention to detail and the business was sold to someone
else before the visas were granted.
Apart from the loss of considerable money in their fees we also
lost a business opportunity and decided not to buy a company in the
USA. However a few months later I married a US citizen and applied
for a "Green Card" A friend of my wife recommended Neelofer Syed as someone who could assist us.
Once we had met her we were impressed by the staggering difference
in attitude from the previous attorneys. Because of her own
experiences she readily understood the problems and explained the
procedure in lucid terms. With her help we navigated the INS system
by having documents ready and prepared well in advance. She also
